Terms of Use

A personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Klori on your Apple devices. The app is provided "as is": we make it as good as we can, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the Kai service or the accuracy of its estimates.

Calories worked out from a photo or a description are approximate. Klori says so plainly — a range, and a "~" in front of the number. Do not use these figures where medical accuracy is required.

Klori is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat or prescribe diets. If you have an eating disorder, are pregnant, have diabetes or any condition where nutrition is part of treatment, talk to a doctor rather than to an app.

• Klori is free. Premium features are paid: Kai without limits, extended nutrients, water, workouts, reports, Kai's memory.
• Plans: monthly and yearly. The current price is shown in the app in your store's currency, and that price is the one that applies.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
• The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Renewal is charged within the last 24 hours of the period.
• You can manage and cancel it in Apple ID Settings → Subscriptions.
• Any unused portion of a free period, where offered, is forfeited when a subscription is purchased.

Purchases are handled by Apple. Refunds follow Apple's policy; we have no access to payment details.

Subscriptions are subject to Apple's standard licence: Apple Standard EULA.

Requests to Kai are limited: the free tier gets a one-off starter pack, Premium a daily allowance. Purchased credit packs do not expire. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred between Apple accounts.

Do not attempt to break the service, work around the limits, or use Kai for anything unrelated to food. We may restrict access where the app is used in a way that harms the service or other people using it.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions made on the basis of the app's figures, nor for indirect losses. Our maximum liability is limited to what you paid for the subscription in the preceding 12 months.
